Great idea, Boyce! My fiction writing professor said that one of the best ways to catch errors is to (a) read your book aloud and (b) retype it from scratch. Retyping is painful, but it’s great for that in-between stage because it really makes you look at your work in a new way. Haven’t done it yet myself for anything but short stories though. I’m a bit too cowardly.
